BWF believes that optimum filter media performance evolves from a sophisticated matching process. This process includes failed media analysis, dust or slurry analysis, process data examination, and referencing BWF's worldwide experience in solids separation. Simply stated, BWF matches its media to your product and process characteristics.

To support this complicated and detailed effort, BWF has established extensive laboratory facilities in the U.S. and Germany. A list of testing equipment and procedures is provided below. One piece of equipment stands out for dust collection. BWF was one of the first companies to add a VDI Dust Test Stand to its laboratory. The VDI method is recognized worldwide as the standard for filter media dust challenge testing. The basic tests provide a clear comparison of media using accepted test dust or, in some cases, the customer's product.
